Mikey is a radio presenter, producer and commentator with experience covering major events on a national and international level.

He was the host of numerous programmes on the now closed Sky Sports News Radio, including the Football League Hour, Sky Sports Football Club and periods hosting Good Morning Sports Fans, Sports Centre and Sport Tonight.

He also produced and presented the stations coverage of major boxing events including Froch v Kessler II and both contests between Carl Froch and George Groves, including reporting ringside at Wembley stadium.

Mikey’s Sports Centre programme was the first on the station to be presented on location, at events as diverse as the Football League play offs, major nights in the League Cup, the opening night of the Super League season and the first day of the Ashes cricket live from Trent Bridge.

He also produced and presented a series of special one off programmes for the station including Ashes Previews with guests including Jason Gillespie and Steve Harmison, a preview and review of the 2013 Lions Tour to Australia and the return to English football of Jose Mourinho.

During his time with Sky Sports, Mikey also worked as a featured interviewer for the FL72 Show on TV and his Football League Hour was converted into the first Sky Sports FL72 Podcast series, Mikey also guest hosted Sky Sports Champions League podcast.

Alongside this work Mikey has been a football commentator for more than 9 seasons on local and national radio, most prominently as part of the Goalzone programme on Free Radio and Absolute Radio’s Rock and Roll Football. He’s now the voice of Wolverhampton Wanderers on the club’s WolvesTV service and Signal107.

As a broadcast journalist he has been part of a Sony Gold win for Station of the Year, a Sony nomination for Best Breaking News Coverage 2012 and twice nominated for a Midlands Media Award for his work online.

He has also been heard as a voiceover artist for The Sun Goals video projects and as a sports newsreader on the Breakfast programmes for BBC WM, BBC Radio Leicester and BBC Coventry and Warwickshire as well as hosting regular sports programmes. Mikey also produced and presented a special programme aired on BBC WM over Christmas 2017 reviewing the sporting year including exclusive interviews with Kal Yafai, Ashley Giles, Paul Lambert and more.

He was also a founding member of The Buzzards wrestling podcast.
